of the Philadelphia sports team is extremely high. Although Philly fans love there team, they can flip on them quickly. Very rarely would a home team get "booed" by their own fans; however, in Philadelphia this is a common occurrence during bad performances. This is so well known that outsiders usually label Philadelphia fans as the worst fans ever.

 

A Negadelphian...

 

According to Urban Dictionary, a Negadelphian is

"a Philadelphia sports fan who is either unduly pessimistic about one or more of the local teams' immediate prospects, or one who strenuously disagrees with the policies, player-personnel decisions etc., made by said team or teams."

With a bunch of negativity building up, the city lashes out looking for someone to be the scapegoat.
