In the eyes of a 23 year old Eagles fan, I look back at that period of the 2000's where Philadelphia seemed to always be in contention of winning it all.
From the year 2000-2004 the Eagles made at least a playoff appearance. From 2001-2004 the Eagles made it to the NFC Championship game consecutively; the final game beyond this was the Super Bowl.
After 3 straight NFC Championship appearances, the Eagles finally made it to the Super Bowl in 2004. Unfortunately they lost by 3 points to the New England Patriots.
